3 tips to help find your inner power by channeling love and abundance through Ayurvedic practices
Ayurveda teaches us that love is the strongest force in the universe. Leading from a place of love is the key to finding the inner power that will allow you to live your most authentic life. Ayurvedic practices are based in concepts of balance between mind, body, and spirit. When we focus our energy on cultivating an abundance of love within ourselves and then sharing that love with others, we can experience a feeling of alignment that gives us the confidence and power to create change within ourselves and the world around us.
As we step into summer months, we are met with celebrations that remind us of the power of love, the resilience of the human spirit and the necessity for all of us to connect and to keep working towards a better world where love is at the center of everything. June is Pride month, a time when we commemorate the Stonewall riots at the end of June 1969, celebrate how far LGBTQ+ rights have come, and advocate for more equality while we celebrate the impact LGBTQ+ people have made in the world.
We simultaneously celebrate Juneteenth to commemorate the emancipation of enslaved people in the United States on June 19th, 1865. We recognize how far we have come in terms of civil rights and how far we still have to go to get to a place where every citizen of the world has equal rights.

We know that Ayurvedic practices are a great tool for helping to transform not only your outer self, but they can help you find inner strength as well. We wanted to share a few practices with you that can help you find authentic power you never knew you had.
Discover Your Authentic Self
Ayurveda believes that each person is born with a unique spiritual essence. You can think of it like a spiritual fingerprint, no two are the same. You have a unique set of attributes that make you, you. To some people, this can sound clichè, but the truth is that the more comfortable you become with the unique attributes of your personality, the better you will feel about living authentically. We live in a world where fitting in can sometimes feel necessary, but authentic power can only be achieved when you are living your truth and being exactly who you were born to be. Realize that we are all on a journey to discovering our most authentic selves and be patient with yourself as you become more self-aware and self-accepting.
Use Mindfulness meditation to cultivate authentic power
Meditation is a great way to get more in tune with yourself. It’s a self-care tool that can have wonderful mental, physical, and emotional health benefits. Mindfulness meditation refers to the type of meditation in which you focus intensely on what you are feeling and sensing in the moment without imposing any judgement or interpretation. It’s about being present in the moment. The more you practice mindfulness meditation, the more present you will become in your everyday life and the more attuned to your true feelings and intuition you will become which will allow you to make decisions and actions based on authenticity.
Love Abundance Mantras can help you develop your authentic power
We’ve shared the power of mantras with you in the past. One of the best mantras to use to develop your authentic power is: “I am love.” As we said before, love is considered the most powerful force in the universe. Love is an equalizing force that can ground us in our authentic power. When you have love in your heart and love for yourself, you can love others authentically. Try some of these mantras:
- I am love
- I am loved
- I am in the process of becoming the best version of myself.
- I am in love with the person I’m becoming.
Repeat any one or all of these a few times daily or when you feel like you need an emotional boost and watch how your perspective changes.
